Sorry for the diary, but...

Sorry for the diary but I’ve been listening to the news for days now with nobody ever mentioning the most obvious type of evidence that needs to be gathered against D. tRump — and I just realized we here could probably go a long way toward gathering such evidence, although, apologies, I’m too ill to do the legwork (and I don’t do Twitter anyway).

The GOP’s Big Lie of the Day is that D. tRump didn’t think the mobs would take his words literally. So we need to find all the evidence we can to show that D. tRump was aware of the types of violent groups, paramilitary, police, Proud Boys, etc, who were on the way to hear his words. Re-tweets might be helpful. Did he brag about anyone in particular who was coming? Did he invite users of certain platforms who he knew were viewed by certain groups?

We can’t let them solidify the myth that D. tRump imagined he was simply rousing an ordinary crowd of supporters, telling them to “fight” (by chanting extra loud) because their country was being stolen from them illegally. I mean, this alone ought to be enough to impeach and convict him, but we need to shut those apologists up who, once again, are arguing, in effect, that D. tRump is just too damn stupid to be guilty.

I’m not a lawyer, but it seems to me that the nature of the audience you’re trying to rile up would be highly relevant in a courtroom, and could range from, say, telling a group of 3rd graders to “fight for their country,” all the way to armed groups that you know publicly have committed to fight violently for you.
